A perfect date-day!
It was a nice change of pace having our babysitter come on a Saturday morning and watch the kids for the day. We hadn’t been canoeing since we were dating, many years ago, so this brought back very pleasant memories! It was a beautiful summer day on the river. We pulled ashore and enjoyed a picnic lunch while we people watched (there were several other canoes and kayaks). After a few hours of canoeing we had enough time to squeeze in a tennis lesson for me. Warren is a good coach and I so enjoy playing tennis with him!

Fun! We recently bought a canoe. I keep meaning to blog about it but can’t seem to make the time! Anyway, it’s a relaxing way to spend time on the water. That is, as long as you don’t have wriggly kids in your tippy canoe!
It’s terrific that you can make time for yourselves and get away for the day. Even though there can be some hard work involved with rowing, it is so relaxing to be on the water. You certainly chose a great day, and you both look wonderful!
