Halloween 2010 (Cowboys and an Indian)

Halloween was greatly anticipated this year.  The boys were excited to collect their loot and see their friends.  I thought Ethan and Isaac would want to extend our usual candy-collecting-route, but to my surprise they were content with our routine.  In fact, half way through they complained of walking too much!  Lincoln was painfully slow at trick-or-treating so Warren took him and I took the big boys.  It was funny to hear all the comments people made about our Rubik’s cubes.  Several men thought my scrambled cube and Warren’s solved cube was some kind of metaphor about women being complicated and having men all figured out.  I also had several people say, “You won’t believe it, there is another Rubik’s cube down the street!”  …Yep, that’s my husband…

After only five minutes of passing out candy, Ethan and Isaac were ready to go inside and sort through their goodies. They were bummed that Mr. Abney, (their favorite house to trick-or-treat) was not home.  But, just before heading to bed, the doorbell rang. Mr. Abney walked down to our house just to give our boys a big bag of candy. They were so thrilled and I really think they will always remember it.  We had a great Halloween!

Grandma Falk

I’m pretty sure Lincoln is one of the cutest cowboys ever! :-) They sure got a lot of candy! We did too except that we had to shut ours off. They would have gone all night! LOL!

Oops! that wasn’t Grandma Falk. That was me, Melissa. I’m on Dad’s computer and forgot to sign in as myself. This would be a good time to mention my costume this year: A pregnant lady. Creative, eh? ;-)

Awww, fun! I see a lot of Warren in Lincoln. That’s awesome about the candy guy coming to you! The picture of Isaac hunched over his candy is great!
