Celebrating Fall

Our boys

Our middle cutie

Ethan has decided he’s too old for hayrides and pumpkin patches. To quote him, “I’m in 3rd grade and hayrides just aren’t my thing anymore”. I like to believe it was just his mood at that particular moment, but truth is, he’s growing up much too quickly. Things that once thrilled him are becoming somewhat dull.

Lincoln is happy doing whatever we do. That’s the nice thing about his age. No complaints, just excited for the new and fresh experiences of life.

See, Mommy, it’s not too heavy for me!

How ’bout this one, Daddy?

Daddy found the pick of the patch!

“Mommy this corn is like 3 time taller than me!”

Lincoln had a blast “falling” into the tall grass out in the pumpkin patch. Ethan perked up when we ate the delicious sweet treats (Apple fritters and cinnamon doughnuts). We arrived home just in time for the babysitter and Warren and I left for some “us” time. We got home a little after 9:00, the kids were sound asleep and the two of us sat and talked until 1:00 AM. Such a great day!
Glad you had such a great time. Date nights are so fun. Especially when the kids are sleeping when you get home!!
Great fall pictures! I think my favorite is the last one of Lincoln.
