Building Memories
This was Lincoln’s first time going to the Home Depot workshop.

He looked very cute in his little apron!

Ethan getting help from Daddy.

Mommy attempting to help Lincoln. It was during the pounding of the first nail that I remembered why I send Warren with the boys while I stay home…

The theme for the day was fire safety. They had nice firemen around to help out where needed.

There was a time this apron was so big on Ethan. We had to rig it up just right so it would fit.

The firemen put a uniform on Isaac. He wondered how in the world they work in those heavy boots!

Did they get a go in the fire engine or set off the bell.
We went this month as well! Our Home Depot had fire trucks and rescue trucks also except that we made birdhouses. Really, they are cute and I was trying to think of a way to mount them all together so actual birds might use them. Usually, we come home with six bulky wooden objects that no one uses. but there was the time they each made a set of bookends. That meant 12 bulky wooden things that nobody used! haha!
But they do have fun, don’t they! I love that they get so thrilled to build stuff. I’ll bet Lincoln was proud even if you did do most of the work. :-)!
