I love a good bargain!

I found this water/sand table at a garage sale for $10.00! The boys LOVE it!

Lincoln played with it for almost 3 solid hours!

It was fun listening and watching the boys play…they’re quite imaginative!

While they were busy Warren and I mulched our landscaping. It feels so nice to have accomplished that.

Can’t beat a beautiful Saturday morning outside listening to happy children, birds singing, and getting work done all at the same time!

Bike-A-Thon

The boys participated in their school bike-a-thon. Here is a picture of Ethan trying to look happy about it.

This expression better matches his attitude. It was a bit chilly and rainy and he isn’t crazy about bike rides to begin with.

Isaac on the other hand rather enjoyed himself! The kindergarten class rode in the gym due to the wet weather.

Creek Exploring

Despite the freezing cold creek water, the boys had a blast exploring! This is always a treat. (For all of us!)

Other than darting little fish we didn’t find any creatures to catch.

Here’s an awkward picture of me sitting uncomfortably just too make it on the blog!

And just in case that wasn’t enough fun for one evening we were greeted with several cul-de-sac kids as we pulled into the driveway!

That’s where we stayed until it was nearly dark.

With a later bedtime than his big brothers, Lincoln is able to cuddle a while with Mommy and Daddy each night before going to sleep. We all enjoy it so much! These days are numbered, I know… Some nights he cuddles extra long because I just can’t bring myself to tuck him in. Being the third child, I realize that in a quick blink he’ll have outgrown this precious phase. But, for now I will treasure each cuddle he gives me!

My Sister’s Wedding

I am so happy for Lisa and Charlie! They are so cute and sweet together. It meant a lot to me to see my dad walk her down the isle and watch her get married. It was perfect weather for a beach wedding. A little windy, but beautiful none the less. Charlie’s family is very nice and seem to think the world of Lisa! May they live happily ever after!

Celebrating 10 Years of Marriage

These pictures were taken in North Carolina during my sister’s wedding. She and Charlie were married ten years and one day after Warren and me. We made the trip without the kids and had it double as a quick anniversary getaway.

The past ten years have flown by too quickly! So many amazing things have happened since our wedding day and I can’t wait to spend many more years sharing my life with my best friend!
