Eight is Great!

Ethan requested a Super Mario themed birthday party. It was a fun theme to work with. Warren made the cake and did a super job!

Ethan loves the special attention he gets on his birthday. To him, it’s SUCH a big deal that it’s HIS birthday. He woke up extra early and asked for waffles, then off to school he went. He was a little bitter that I actually made him go to school on his birthday! I can’t believe it’s been eight years since we welcomed our first baby into the world. *sigh*

Pictures with our birthday boy!

Notice the the background…it wouldn’t be much of a Super Mario party without actually playing the game! Ethan’s favorite character is Luigi.
Time for gifts!
A special picture for Aunt Kari! ;)
Ethan received nerf guns, webkinz, markers/paper, DSi games, bionicles, a Super Mario t-shirt, Pictionary Junior, and money.

Looks great as always, Lynn. It was too bad that I missed it. I’m glad he liked his stick figure card. I saw that about a month before his birthday and thought of him right away.

Kari – Your boys really were there. They stayed in the basement the majority of the time. They didn’t care so much about the birthday party, there were too many toys to play with downstairs!

Evan’s favorite character is Luigi as well. He has requested a Luigi party ONLY! That means no Mario, Tails, Knuckles, or any of the other characters! Ethan looks so grown up in the pictures! You have very handsome boys.

Ooops! I meant to say Trey instead of Evan. While I was posting yesterday, I was holding Evan, and accidentally put his name on it! (I’m pretty sure a two-year old wouldn’t request a party only on one character.) :P
