Basketball
Isaac took a basketball class at the YMCA. He liked it for the most part, but didn’t really look forward to it each week. I wonder if our boys will ever develop a bigger interest in organized sports. It was amazing to see the improvement he made in just 5 weeks!
On the last day the kids were rewarded with candy, a trophy, and a new t-shirt.
And our family went out for ice-cream!
Eight is Great!
Ethan requested a Super Mario themed birthday party. It was a fun theme to work with. Warren made the cake and did a super job!
Ethan loves the special attention he gets on his birthday. To him, it’s SUCH a big deal that it’s HIS birthday. He woke up extra early and asked for waffles, then off to school he went. He was a little bitter that I actually made him go to school on his birthday! I can’t believe it’s been eight years since we welcomed our first baby into the world. *sigh*

I gave Lincoln the chore privilege of playing with the hamster while I cleaned the cage. I heard giggling and then, “Mommy, Mommy, wook!”
Good-bye 20′s…
My 20′s will be missed. It was in that decade I got married, bought our first house, and became a mother to three little boys. What can top that?
Gandma’s House! (Easter Weekend)
Ethan and Lincoln are relaxing on the front porch of Grandma and Grandpa’s house after a long car ride.
Lincoln enjoyed his game of peek-a-boo with Aunt Melissa.
There seemed to be random games here and there over the course of the weekend. Makes for good memories.

Coloring Eggs
Isaac plopped this egg in the blue dye and let it sit a good long time. He wasn’t too interested in coloring any others. He just wanted a really cool blue egg and that’s just what he got.
Ethan colored a couple of eggs but had more fun goofing off with his cousins.
Lincoln woke up from his nap just in time to color an egg… or six. All the kids had finished at this point and he was left with all the dye and left-over eggs. Mommy stepped in when he got a little too “dye-happy.”
Cookout at the Eimers’ House
Melissa and Steve live just 15 minutes from Warren’s parents in Knoxville, but it’s been nearly six years since we have been to their house. Warren’s parents house is the main gathering place. It’s easier for the 8 Eimers’ to load up and visit the rest of the large bunch at Grandma’s place. But, it was a nice treat this year to have a cook-out at Melissa and Steve’s house. The weather was perfect and the kids had such wonderful time playing together.

Children’s Museum
Due to a busy work-week which included several over-time hours, Warren was given a whole Monday off! The boys were on Spring break so we headed to the Children’s Museum for some fun.

Ethan finally finds his large egg. Inside there was a small Webkinz gecko, which he named Sam.
Isaac’s special egg was a Webkinz black bear, which he named Blacky.
Lincoln’s special egg had cars, which he did not name. :)
All the kids had so much fun hunting for eggs and then sitting around eating candy and comparing goodies. We have decided to make this an annual event in the cul-de-sac.
