Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we allow the boys to each open one gift.
While watching “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” Lincoln became fascinated with the  Abominable Snow Monster. He asked over and over, “where he go?” if he wasn’t in a particular scene. I happened to find this at CVS and knew I had to get it for Lincoln! It  roars like a monster and then sings a nice Christmas song. Lincoln slept with it the first night and carries it all around. I think it’s at the top of his favorite Christmas gifts list! Don’t you just love finding the perfect gift?!

Isaac liked his micro remote-controlled car. But, I’m not so sure it’s still up and running.

Don’t be deceived…he may LOOK like he’s patiently waiting his turn to open a present. It’s tough being the oldest!
He opened his Nerf  key chain, a gift from Isaac.

Vitali got a nerf keychain gun in his stocking. Christmas could have stopped right there and he would have been happy!

Grandma Falk

It doesn’t matter how old the child is, waiting is hard. Evan was eager to open his gifts (We let him open two) on Christmas Eve. And yes, it is really a good feeling to find the perfect gift and see your child’s eyes light up with excitement. The nice thing about little children is that it is sometimes the smallest thing which makes them happy!

The trouble with older kids is that it is often the smallest gift that costs more than all their gifts from Christmases past combined!
