Johnny Appleseed Day
Here is Isaac’s class sporting their Johnny Appleseed hats and showing off the craft they made while learning the story of Johnny Appleseed.
They learned all about apples. They tasted several apples and voted on which kind they liked the best. (Isaac’s favorite was the green one, he said.) They read stories, learned new songs, and made a book about an apple and a worm.
I’m totally going to steal this idea for next year!
