Mickey Kitty
Mickey just doesn’t get the attention he used to get before the 3 boys were born. Now he welcomes any kind of attention, even Lincoln using him as a place to drive his car. He really is a good cat.

Sweet Isaac
I am posting this conversation I had with Isaac so I can always remember it.
Just yesterday Isaac asked me, “Mommy, when you blow out the candles on a birthday cake, does the wish really come true?” Purposely avoiding a direct answer I responded this way: “Isaac, if you could wish any wish and have it come true, what would your wish be?” He thought for a few seconds and this was his reply: “I would wish for Ethan to always be nice to me so we could always be best friends.”
This conversation took place out of the blue, during the middle of the day when Ethan was at school. It melted my heart and put goose bumps on my arms. That kid is just so sweet!
Later that same day, when I was driving Ethan home from school (Isaac was home with Daddy) I told him about the conversation. It put a huge smile on his face and his reaction was: “Woa! That’s a good one!” (meaning the wish)
I love how unselfish Isaac is. He didn’t want to wish for lots of money, candy, toys, or anything materialistic. He just wanted a perfect relationship with his big brother.
Family Reunion
We had 100% attendance in Tennessee over Labor Day weekend! All 27 of us! (28 including baby Harrison on the way. Congrats Nathan and Elise on another boy!) The poor girls are so out-numbered!

The trampoline was definitely a highlight for the kids! They played on this for hours each day. Ethan had fun telling me all about the games Hannah taught him to play while jumping.

Back to School
Lookin’ good on day one!
Our big 2nd grader!
They look happy on their first morning getting ready for school. You would never know that they both cried themselves to sleep the night before. It was hard to face the fact summer was over and the new school year had arrived.

Here I am, teach me!
This is Isaac’s very first bus ride to school. He was so excited! (So different from Ethan who cried before his first ever bus ride because he was nervous.) Ethan came home later this day and said, “I don’t want to ride the bus with Isaac ever again!” Apparently I saac was a little high-energy and had to be reminded by the bus driver to sit in his seat. Yikes, I should have know to have a talk with him before hand! Ethan also complained that Isaac acted too goofy. Yes, that sounds right, he’ll do anything for a laugh.
