Ethan had his hands behind his back and told me he had something special for me. I thought it would be a sunflower, but instead it was a pretty purple flower. He was so proud of it and excited to give it to me. Isaac took this picture of us.

We saw the same flowers up on the hill beside our house. I wonder what they are? I picked one and put it in a vase and it was a wilty mess the next morning, leaves and all.
