My RED kitchen!
We have been doing some redecorating. This is our new BOLD kitchen. What do you think? It’s taking a while for me to get used to it. Warren really likes it. It looks great with the living room…pictures of that will come tomorrow. Warren just hung my gallery wall. I love it!
I still plan to get black hardware for the cupboards and some new things for above the cabinets.
It’s very warm and inviting.
I like that rich shade of red. Is it a layered paint treatment or just one color? I think the black hardware will look very nice on the cupboards and the red rug pulls it all together nicely.
Did you guys paint it yourselves? Kitchens are a pain to paint (IMHO) and so it’s good that you like it! I had to repaint mine the first time I painted it. I really tried to talk myself into liking that original color first though. LOL! But it is worth it in the end to have a great new look!
It’s a layered paint treatment with black on top of the red. It’s hard to see in the picture because it is very subtle. It really looks good with the black appliances and almost black countertops. We had someone paint for us. He has his own business and he’s the only employee. :) He is awesome! It was amazing to watch him. He uses two paint brushes at once…one in each hand. He works very fast, too.
I like it. Of course, I would since ours is red also.
It’s great to have a dramatic change, especially if you both like it. I think it looks wonderful. I love red.
