Warren’s one-day-early birthday gift.
Lately, Warren has been spending his spare time teaching himself to play “Moonlight Sonata” on his keyboard. He found this keyboard on craigslist yesterday and couldn’t pass up the good deal. Since Ethan and Isaac have shown some interest in playing they now have the old keyboard for their room. Needless to say, our house has been quite noisy in the evenings! (I mean, beautifully musical)
At least he isn’t trying to learn the drums…
I thought you had a keyboard?
It’s true that the former device from Radio Shack resembled a keyboard, but it sounded more like a cellphone and had only a couple more keys than one. I couldn’t even play the whole song because it goes up about 3 notes higher than the highest key on that old one.
But the most annoying part about the old one was that the keys felt like organ keys.
I’m quite pleased with the new one. It was quite a good deal, and the keys almost feel like a piano (except that they spring back up too fast, but beggers can’t be choosers).

What a great gift to get yourself, Warren. I’ve been wanting to get a keyboard too. I hadn’t thought of Craigslist! I’ll have to check it out!
