Oreo truffles!

Better than Sex cake!

My sad attempt at a Christmas tree cake. :)

I also made sugar cookies, peanut blossoms, and rice krispy treats!

Yum! That is a lot of dessert! Recipes would be great (especially for photo #2!).

Oh my goodness!  You put me to shame!  Everything looks a-mazing!  I agree – recipes would be great : )

Becky Dow

Hey Lynn,

I was wondering if you would by any chance mind sharing the oreo truffle recipe.  I’ve had them at several get togethers before, but have not been able to find the recipe.  Thanks for sharing!  Everything looks great!

The oreo truffles turned out great.  They look really good.

Gasp!  Did you really put “that word” on your blog!??  I see Brittani Fryman managed to avoid using it in her comment–as did I.

Oops.

Hey, Becky! I certainly don’t mind sharing the recipe for the oreo truffles. They’re super easy… They look pretty and taste great, but there isn’t much to them.

1 standard size package of regular oreos

1 8 OZ. Cream Cheese

Chocolate for dipping

Crush the oreos to a very fine texture (I use my mini food chopper)

Put cream cheese in microwave for 1 minute and then stir into the oreos.

I refridgerate the mixture for a while before rolling them into balls. After the balls are formed I put them back in the fridge for a while. Then, melt chocolate and dip them. It’s pretty to drizzle the oppiste kind of Chocolate on the top.

See, I told you it was easy! Three ingredients.

Hope all is well with you. Thanks for visiting our site.

haha, Melissa! I used ‘the’ word and don’t regret it ;)

Brittani- Recipe for picture # 2

9X13 brownies baked and cooled

1 large pkg. of chocolate instant pudding

2 small tubs of cool whip

Crushed Heath bars (opptional, but recommended :) )

caramel for drizzling

make pudding according to directions (I use 2 1/2 cups of milk instead of 3)

mix pudding and one small container of cool whip (I use extra creamy cool whip)

Half the brownies on the bottom

Then half the pudding/cool whip mixture

then plain cool whip

repeat

sprinkle heath bars on top and drizzle caramel

(You can put more heath throught the dessert, it gives it a nice crunchy texture)

Enjoy!
