Spiderman, Mr. Giraffe, and Batman were excited that it was f-i-n-a-l-l-y Halloween!
Lincoln’s first sucker…I still don’t know who gave that to him. I didn’t plan to let him have candy, but I wasn’t going to take it away from him!
Trick-or-treating at Mr. Abney’s house. He kept telling the boys, “hold on” and he would go back in and grab more candy for them. He did this about 6 times!

Believe it or not, this was the first picture I took of all six kids and it turned out great the first time! Amazing!

I can not BELIEVE all the candy we have around here right now! Hannah weighed her bag on my scale and had over 5 pounds for her two-event total. The others didn’t weigh theirs but I’ll bet she just had the average! Not only that but we got almost all good stuff: Reese’s, hershey’s, kit kats, m&ms (or animals, as Vitali calls them) and other chocolate yummies. And here’s the good part; the kids know my favorite is Reese’s so they have brought me all of theirs–and no, I didn’t tell them to! In fact, Annette just plopped a Reese’s Stick in front of me just now. Of course, the morning activities every day for the last three or four have revolved around candy sorting even though they aren’t even supposed to ask for any until after lunch. :-)
