Ethan went to his very first LAN party with Daddy on Friday night. I made this t-shirt for him to wear. Warren told me what it should say because I didn’t have a clue. Noob means someone who is new to something. (apparently) It turned out to be a big hit. Ethan is holding his very own bottle of Sprite. The older guys drink lots of caffeine so I figured I should get Ethan some pop that didn’t have caffeine. He was very proud that he was allowed to have that! It’s a big treat because we rarely let them have pop. Ethan stayed up way later that a 6 year old should ever stay up, but Warren said he had a blast. What a good bonding night for the two of them.

Here we are eight years, three kids, and 20 more pounds later! :)

We worked on our landscaping on Saturday. It will look much better once we mulch. But, you get the idea.

Lincoln touches flowers for the first time. Every time we walk by these flowers or the flowers on our wreath he reaches for them and has such a look of amazement on his face.

We had a lot of rain last night and this morning. When I discovered this huge puddle near our house I ran in and told the boys to get their barn boots on! They were so excited. They played in there for about two hours. They eventually “swam” in it. They were laying down in the water and everything. Their friend, Stevie, joined in on the fun and the three of them had a blast.

I think Owen kind of looks like Isaac in this picture.

We are watching Owen for the night. The boys had a lot of fun with him. They had a little story time together. It was sweet seeing Ethan read to Owen and Isaac looking at pictures and making his own stories for Owen.

Ethan has been doing things to earn money. He kept talking about how he wanted a 5 dollar bill. I told him all he had to do was give me 5 single dollar bills and I would trade him a 5 dollar bill. He was SO excited about this! About 90% of the words that came out of his mouth that day were about money. It started to annoy me, but I am glad I captured it with this picture. Someday 5 dollar bills won’t mean much to him.

I look at this picture and feel so grateful that we have three boys! Life is loud and crazy at our house, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Ethan looks so grown up in this picture.

We went to a nice park with a playground, but the boys had much more fun digging in the dirt looking for bugs.

Lincoln just looked so adorable in the swing. As soon as I put him in it he reached his hand out and held onto the swing.
