5 Months!
Lincoln is 5 months old and growing fast! He has mastered rolling over and is learning to sit up.
He sleeps through the night, every night! He sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours straight without making a sound. Mommy is so happy about this accomplishment. He even falls asleep on his own by sucking his thumb or his first two fingers. His naps aren’t always the greatest during the day, but we will keep working at it.
He has discovered his toes and fingers. He is entertained by them for long periods of time.
He has started this loud screaming thing to get attention. Being the third boy in the house he has to make sure he is heard…it works!
Lincoln is a very content baby for the most part. I really enjoy this age and wish it could go on much longer.
We are loving this little guy!

I can’t believe he’s that old already. I’m happy for you that he’s sleeping through the night. I sure wish Jude would. My mom said that with all of us we were sleeping through the night at only a few weeks, so here’s hoping:) Unfortunately, Jude is not a good sleeper at night. He will sleep for a couple of hours and then wake up crying, but wont nurse and I can’t get him back to sleep. So usually I’m up with him for at least an hour or so before I can get him back to sleep and then I do it all over again after a few more hours of sleep.
Beth, that is exactly how it was with Lincoln! I remember being so frustrated and so tired because he was crying and crying while I was right there trying to nurse him. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. After about 3 to 4 weeks of that he stopped. It’s a good thing too because I also had Ethan and Isaac to look after during the day. Try to nap when Jude naps…any little bit will help.
Also, I think Mom counted sleeping through the night differently than we might.
