Four Months Old!

Lincoln is four months today. What a little sweetheart he is! This month he slept through the night several times, but not consistently. He really got the hang of grasping his toys and reaching for things. He is so entertained by his brothers and lights up when they are around. They can make him laugh like nobody else. He giggles at them so often and then he always gets the hiccups.
Lincoln’s favorite discovery this month was learning that he could growl. He does it very often. I got good video of it and will try to post a clip so you can hear how funny it is. He sounds like a little tiger.
He is starting to roll from his back to belly. Sometimes at night he will wake up on his back and get frustrated that he can’t get back to his belly. I have had to roll him over several times so he can sleep again. He was like a turtle stuck on his back. Too cute!
He is getting so big and changing so fast. He looks so much like Ethan!

(His nose is slightly red in this picture because we had just come in from being outside and it was a little chilly out there)

Grrrrreat RRRrrreport, Lynn!
(How’s my grrrowling, Lincoln? The spell-checker doesn’t approve.)

BTW, Lynn, I heard–or read, actually–the other day that there is a website you can go to to have your blog tuned into a book. I am thinking of finding it so I can put our adoption blog on there. And maybe the other one too since it would be better than nothing and I haven’t been making any time to work on my albums in a long time! Just thought you’d be interested.

Beth lost all her content recently and I was saying how it was good that it was before Jude was born and not after. You have, especially lately, been putting so many good little details (like this post) in that I thought it might be especially good for you.

I don’t know where it is, though.

Lynn

Yes, I am interested. If you find the site send me a link. I am always worried about losing my content, too. I have not been scrapbooking so I use the blog as a way to journal. However, Warren says our blog is backed up. Hopefully nothing will ever happen to it! I want to be able to read these posts in 20, 30, 40 years from now. That is why I put so much detail in them. I figure most people who come to our blog don’t really care for all the details, but someday the boys might like to read about them.

I love Lincoln’s little growl! It is so funny! It’s hard too believe that he is 4 months old already. We love watching him grow up.

Grandma Falk

Lincoln doesn’t look like the growling type! He’s too sweet! I know that he’s a boy, but he is truly beautiful. Part of it is his facial features, but a big part of his handsomeness is his countenance. I don’t want to be repeating myself, but he reminds me of Warren at this age–especially that picture of him at Uncle David’s wedding where he is lying on the stage at the reception. I was always struck by his sweet, gentle countenance.
