3 Months old!

I know I say it every month, but time is going so fast! Lincoln rolled over for the first time two days ago! I put him down for a nap on his tummy and when I came back to get him he was on his back! He is getting so strong. People often comment on how sturdy and strong he is. He doesn’t feel at all limp or flimsy while holding him. He will likely take after his brothers and walk early.

His hands are his favorite things, he is fascinated by them. He sucks them, studies them, and tries to control them. He also loves to stick his tongue out. He discovered it about two weeks ago and sticks it out often.

Lincoln is not sleeping through the night yet. He’s not on a good schedule either. He’s still a little unpredictable, although that is getting better.

He loves watching Ethan and Isaac. He really enjoys when they sing “rock-a-bye-baby” to him. He also enjoys the “good morning” song I sing to him each morning. (despite my horrible singing!)

Bath time is still Lincoln’s favorite time!

He is starting to giggle and is very ticklish.

He’s a little adorable peanut and a great addition to our family. We just love love love him!

Starting to enjoy toys!

Lincoln loves to look at his toys and his mobiles. He tries very hard to reach for them. He misses most of the time, but it’s so cute watching him try to figure out how his hands work.

Gotta love the tongue sticking out! Such concentration!

Our Family

Melissa took some really good family photos for us. It was a beautiful Spring day. The tree behind us was gorgeous.

Thanks Melissa!

All the grandchildren…except for Owen and the two babies on the way!

I “blog lifted” this photo from Melissa. Thanks for the nice picture, Melissa! This way my side of the family can see it too.

I think I should have held Lincoln up so we could see how tall he was…oh well, still a cute picture!

Our family on Easter Sunday

This would have turned out better if we weren’t squinting from the bright sun. But, it sure was a pretty morning!

Max and his “big egg”

I have no idea where Max found this egg, but he seemed to be the only one with an egg this big. He was pretty proud of that and showed it to me several times!

Lincoln likes Vitali too…Da!

I thought this was a sweet picture. Lincoln looks so happy in little Vitali’s lap. Vitali and Misha watched me give Lincoln a bath and seemed very interested. They asked a ton of questions in Russian so I just said, “Da” a lot. I have no idea what they were saying! :)

Ice Cream Please!

Vitali and Isaac eating Grandma’s yummy ice cream dessert. They actually started sharing and feeding each other. It’s amazing how fast kids can bond! Isaac keeps talking about him. Ethan does too, he says he likes Vitali the best.

Rubics cubes…how exciting! (yawn)

Warren and Nathan are trying to solve the rubrics cube. Warren’s is a 4X4 cube. he solved it within a couple days with no cheating.

They did get a little more adventurous and play a long game of tennis together.

Boys and guns!

We went to Tennessee for Easter weekend. It was nice to see everyone and meet Melissa and Steve’s newest additions. The boys had a lot of fun together.

In this picture Ethan and Isaac are showing Simon their new NERF guns that they took with them. Can you read Simon’s shirt? It says, “My parents are exhausted.” I have got to get one of those for Lincoln! :)

Lincoln was pretty fussy and not quite himself during our visit to TN. He didn’t like the long car ride and cried for a good part of it. Once we got home he slept all night and was in the best mood the next day. He knew we were home. I wish he had been happier for his Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles, though!

Photo Session!

I had pictures done of the three boys together. It was quite an interesting experience! They did a great job, but as you can see they were very distracted by these adorable little ducklings.

I wanted pictures that would show personality and have a “timeless” look to them.

The girl who took the pictures did a great job working with the boys. She kept laughing at them…they were in such good, but silly moods.

I am very pleased with how these turned out. I just put in an order to get some up in my house. We  need a family picture now…
