Christmas Countdown
The boys and I made these Christmas chains at the beginning of December. Each morning they get to rip a link from their chain and then count the days until Christmas. They get so excited each morning, especially now that the chain is getting so small!
I remember doing that when I was a kid. It was so exciting to see the chain get smaller and smaller. It’s hard to believe Christmas is in three days! This month went so fast.
I bet you’re getting really eager to have this baby soon. I hope he comes on time so I can see him when we come through on the 1st. I want to get in sometime in the early evening so we’ll have time to see him. John wants to leave first thing in the morning on the 2nd because he wants to be able to relax for the rest of the day before he goes to work the next day.
Yeah, I hope you get to come and visit the baby. I am eager to finally meet him, but I am still very comfortable and feel like I could be pregnant a lot longer. I have been sleeping well at night and I feel good during the day. I am thankful for this, I know a lot of people are so miserable by the last month of pregnancy.
My sister and her boyfriend will still be here on the 1st. They leave on the 2nd to go back to North Carolina. Did you plan on staying with Dan and Kari for the night? It might be a little easier and less crowded here. But, I would love for you guys to hang out with us on New Years Night!

Yeah, we’re staying with Dan and Kari. At least that was the plan at Thanksgiving. I’ll have to touch base with them again to make sure that’s still ok.
I am jealous!
