A trip down memory lane…
I was just daydreaming about the birth of our third child. Thinking about what it will be like this time and having the boys come to the hospital to visit me and seeing their faces as they meet their new brother. I can’t wait for the first time we are all together as a new family of 5!
Thinking about it made me go back and look at pictures from when Isaac was born. I love the picture on this post. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Ethan was really more interested in the hospital phone than his new brother. But, this time around he and Isaac will be excited to see their new brother and help Mommy.
I had a brief moment of alarm when I spotted the picture!! Then I realized that it was a “memory lane” picture!!
I can see why you love that picture. Such a cute memory! Especially the part about the phone. :-) Maybe you should have gotten a picture of him and the phone!! No way he could have realized what a treasure a little brother would turn out to be! Now a phone, on the other hand…
I like to hear the “rest of the story” tales about pictures! The stuff that didn’t get into the picture but that is brought to mind when you see the photo. Very sweet!

No, we can’t agree :) Warren really wants Lincoln…I don’t really care for that name. But, there really isn’t a name that stands out to me that I just love. I like “Alex” and “Austin” but Warren doesn’t. But, even I don’t like them enough to fight for. I hope we come up with something soon!
