The Jack-O-Lanterns are finished!

Ethan’s is the scary looking one (of course!) Isaac wanted his to smile, but look scary. I think we achieved that look with the sharp teeth!

We did actually save a bunch of seeds and we are going to eat them tonight.

The boys had a great time carving their pumpkins. They told us exactly what face they wanted it to have. They even helped scoop out all the “goo” this year.

Ethan and Isaac love to play with our old cameras. They pretend to take pictures on their many adventures. We may get Ethan his first working camera for Christmas. He will love it. Isaac will be jealous, but I am not sure he is quite old enough for one yet. Although, Ethan is the one who broke our last camera by dropping it on the driveway…

Our young marrieds class at church had a murder mystery night. We all came dressed as our characters. It was called, “Murder Among the Mateys.” Warren ended up being the murderer!
I kind of liked his scruffy look, very handsome in that beard! :)

My character was a galley wench…

Isaac loves bugs so he was thrilled when we discovered this praying mantis hiding on our flowers. He was not afraid at all to pick it up and “play” with him.

Here is the hospital phone :) Who needs a brother??

I was just daydreaming about the birth of our third child. Thinking about what it will be like this time and having the boys come to the hospital to visit me and seeing their faces as they meet their new brother. I can’t wait for the first time we are all together as a new family of 5!
Thinking about it made me go back and look at pictures from when Isaac was born. I love the picture on this post. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Ethan was really more interested in the hospital phone than his new brother. But, this time around he and Isaac will be excited to see their new brother and help Mommy.

I usually get lots of pictures like this while trying to get one good one!

I took the boys to the park after Ethan was done with school yesterday. We packed a lunch, brought a blanket and had a picnic. There is this huge hill there and the boys had so much fun kicking their soccer ball up it and trying to get them as they rolled back down. Isaac was having fun rolling down the hill.

Not so little really… Rachel is due to have her baby in the next week or two. But, she looks great!

Warren did a great job. He got frustrated with me though while he was painting the nose. I kept laughing and it was causing my stomach to get all distorted and making things really difficult for him.

My friend Rachel and I had our kids and husbands paint our big pregnant bellies into pumpkins. It was a lot of fun and pretty funny too!

Ethan found his right away.

Isaac had the hardest time picking out a pumpkin! There was ’something’ wrong with every one we tried to give him.He didn’t end up taking one home.

We went to Iron’s Fruit Farm on Saturday to enjoy the Fall weather. We go atleast a couple times each Fall. We took a hay ride and ate apple fritters and apple cider slushies…yum!
