Baby BOY number 3!!!

We had our 4D ultrasound yesterday! It was an amazing experience for us. I am so happy we decided to do it this time around. We found out that we are 100% having another boy! We are both so happy. He’s healthy and very cute from what we can see :) The ultrasound technician kept talking about his mouth as being very cute and formed so nicely with a great jaw line and “beautiful” lips. We are curious to see this mouth when he is born! He had his little fists up by his face most of the time. He was trying to get his thumb. We may have another thumb-sucker on our hands. I am fine with that because I think it makes them happy babies. He has all 10 toes and all 10 fingers, he really looks perfect in there. It’s amazing. It made me want to hold him. He looked ready to come out, but he still has a lot of growing and maturing to do.

Ethan and Isaac watched the DVD when we got home. Ethan said, “Mom, I just want him to come out now.” We are all very anxious to meet and hold this little boy.

He seems so real to us now and so I would like to settle on a name…

4D Ultrsound Tomorrow!

We (especially me) are very excited about this. This will be the first 4D ultrasound I have ever had.  They normally cost $150.00, but I get to have mine for $50.00 thanks to a great coupon. We will get to know the gender of this baby 100% tomorrow! I am going to ask Dan if I can borrow his scanner so we can scan the ultrasound pics for my blog.  I can’t wait to see the baby. I’m actually going to ask the technician to shy away from his face because I really don’t want to know what he looks like until he is born. I don’t mind profile shots though. I really want to see cute little hands and feet and of course the necessary body parts in determining gender!

More to come tomorrow…

“Batmen!”

Our neighbor Stevie had a little batman party last night. They all looked so cute running around with their masks on and just being little boys.

Feeding the animals

Our Church had a community celebration for Labor Day weekend. They had a petting zoo, pony rides, hot air balloon rides, firetruck rides, games, food, etc… It was all free to the public. The boys had a great time.

Just before going up

Ethan is standing next to me, I was lifting him up, but he got heavy and the man taking our picture took too long. The little boy in front of me is just a boy from our church.

We took a hot air balloon ride. The boys didn’t really like it all that much. It was really crowded in there and very hot and noisy. They had the balloon tethered to the ground, but it was still high enough for me!

An Unfortunate Night

At 3:30 AM this morning Warren and I were woken up by banging on our front door and the doorbell ringing. There were a couple of police officers here. They said that our street had been hit with car robberies and we were among those cars. My front window was smashed and my purse was gone. Warren’s computer bag was on the ground with his work laptop and his tablet computer missing. I am sure those will never be recovered. Warren is sick just thinking about all the work stored on the computer that he lost for good. We had a couple purses dumped in our driveway. Apparently 18 cars were hit on our street.

Warren and I usually park the car and truck in the garage at night. But, just this week, Warren has been working in the garage building himself a computer desk. And for that reason we were parking outside. Bad timing.

Good news…I was able to find my purse this morning after searching and searching. It was down the street in the drainage system. Warren was able to get the grate up and crawl down into the hole to get my purse. Everything was left inside except for a $20.00 bill. This guy or “guys” were apparently taking cash and computers only. The police officers said 8 computers were reported missing.

Purses were left with everything inside, just missing cash. They didn’t seem interested in credit cards or anything of great importance.

We think this happened around 11:30 last night. Which is pretty early. I heard some noises outside around that time and didn’t bother to get out of bed to look out the window because it was still early enough I assumed it was a neighbor. That seems to be what others have said too. People say their dogs were barking around then, but they didn’t know why, etc..

Well, I will send an update if anything turns up.

Kindergarten!

It’s so hard to believe that Ethan started Kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. He seems to be adjusting fine. He is very predictable. I knew he would not like the idea of going to school. I think a lot of it is just an act he puts on to make things a little more difficult than they have to be. When I pick him up he is always in the best mood and says he had so much fun. Then the next morning we are back to him saying, “I don’t want to go to school.” It would be the same thing if I were teaching him at home. When it would be time to “work” he would do the same thing I am sure. He likes to play and do his own thing. Don’t we all… :)

Silly Isaac!

Ethan and Isaac love to wear goggles in the water. They swim under and find things on the bottom of the pool. I thought this was a funny picture. (not so flattering, but funny)

Family Room

This area is where we will watch movies on the “big screen.” We need to get furniture and the projector. It will be a nice place to hang out with the kids since the play room is right there too.

Our Basement is Finished!

This is the new play room. We moved all the toys into this area. We put hardwood floors down so the boys could race their cars, and build with legos or blocks…
