Ice Cream Shack!!!
Our trip to New York would not have been complete without a trip or two to the Ice Cream Shack! They have the best flavors of ice cream there. My favorite is white lightening! My mouth waters just thinking about it. The second day I got Piece of Cake flavor…it was good, but I wished I had ordered White Lightening again…Yummy!
Oh! I forgot about piece of cake! I was able to go once and I got fireball and white lightning. I told the girl that I wanted whichever scoop was biggest (top or bottom) to be white lightening.
Bethany made ice cream the other day and thinks she may have been able to replicate it. I’m eager to find out if she did. If so, we’ll have to impose on her to bring her ice cream maker next time we are all together.
If the girls had been with me we would have gotten them bubblegum. They love that!
We had to stop in Erie on the way out of town and find a Perry’s stand so they could get their fixes too! I was bummed that that stand didn’t have the white lightning though. BooHoooo!

White Lightening is the BEST flavor in the whole world! As Melissa said, I did try to replicate it and came very close. It’s not quite as rich as Perry’s so I’ll have to work on that.
Yum! I was sad we didn’t get to go to the Ice Cream Shack while we were in NY. Everyone kept loading us up on desserts. When we had time, we were too full.
Maybe I’ll stop at the Ice Cream Shack tomorrow…I’ll dedicate a few licks to each of you!
