Fun in the Sand

Rachel and I took the kids to the park. They had a lot of fun playing in the sand, hiking through the woods, and playing on the playground.

This is Owen’s first time in the pool! He really seemed to like it. What a cutie!

The landscaping was beautiful and the boys really liked the dinosaur bushes.

This picture was taken at the new Creation Museum. The line was extremely long because it was the grand opening day. We waited in line for a good long time and then gave up because it was so hot outside and the line was barely moving.

Warren, his Dad, and the boys went to a baseball game together one evening while they were here.

Warren’s Mom and Dad came to the area for Memorial Day Weekend. It was so nice to spend some time with them. Grandma brought a bag of books with her to read to the boys. They have their favorites and really look forward to story time.

We got this swing set from friends of ours. They were replacing it with a new one and gave us a good deal on this one. The boys really enjoy it!

What a nice daddy to put this together for the kids to play on!
After two weeks of
Today I am 10 weeks pregnant. I am looking forward to the 12 week mark where I will hopefully start to feel better and not be so tired. This pregnancy has been much different from my pregnancies with the boys. I am not AS sick and even have periods where I feel fine. Everyone says it’s different because they think I am going to have a girl…we’ll see.
My due date is New Year’s Eve! I am just hoping to avoid Christmas Day. I went a little early with both of the boys so I am a little worried about having a Christmas baby.
We recently told Ethan and Isaac about the baby. They are both excited and can’t wait to help me. But, they both refuse to change stinky diapers! Ethan has chosen names for this little one. If it’s a boy he likes “George Washington” and if it’s a girl he likes “Susie.” So, that is what we call the baby for now.
I had my first prenatal check-up two weeks ago. I got an ultrasound and saw our tiny baby (about an inch long) with its nice strong beating heart. What an amazing feeling! It really got me so excited to meet my child! It made everything seem real.
We are very blessed to have this little person on the way. We have so much to look forward to and so much to be thankful for!
