I love when the boys pick flowers for me. You can just see the excitement in their eyes as they come running to give them to me. They are so proud of the bouquet in their little hands. It will be sad when they are grown and dandelions are no longer beautiful flowers for Mom. At least, I have these pictures to treasure.

I saw this poem online and it was just perfect for this picture. Ethan was so sweet out in the field picking flowers. He was so careful with them and enjoyed arranging them in his hand. He liked the ones with really long stems.
Ethan’s party went really well. He was so happy the whole time.
It was cute because his Captain Hook party was 5 days after his actual birthday and he thought since we celebrated ‘5′ at grandma’s house, then he must be ‘6′ at his next party. He said, “Mom, 5 was fast, I am 6 now!”
This was a big hit at the party! The kids really enjoyed this.
All the kids dressed up as pirates for Ethan’s party . They had a great time!

Aunt Melissa and Grandma made cupcakes for Ethan’s birthday. It was fun for him to celebrate with his cousins at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.
I can’t believe Ethan is 5! He’s growing up so fast.
The cousins seem to have a new addition every year. I wonder if there will be another one next year? Maybe 3 more in the Eimers’ family alone!

We arrived in Tennessee the evening of my birthday. we had a nice dinner and a yummy cake!
Our church playgroup went to Young Chefs Acadamy and the kids had a great time chopping up food and making “waldo” salad.
