A furry friend
I found this raccoon on our front step. Warren and I opened the door a little so we could take pictures. It didn’t seem to be very affraid at all. It looked at us and then put it’s head back down to sleep on our door mat.

I wonder if he’s planning on hibernating there. Or maybe the backdoor was too scary with all that water nearby….
Maybe your doormat reminds him of his mama.
He’s a cute little fella; he LOOKS so cuddly.
That’s pretty cool. I guess you never know when you’re going to find something like that. Melissa, I bet your right about hibernation. That would explain why it didn’t get frightened and run away. It was just too tired and too cold.
