Shhhh!

Daddy and Isaac cuddled together on the couch just before Isaac’s nap time. When I came down to put Isaac to bed he was already asleep!

Lisa came to visit us for a few days and it was so nice. We love when she comes because she is such a big help with the boys! They love playing and spending time with her, too. We had a beautiful day while she was here so we took the boys to the park to get some energy out.

I got Warren this “geek” shirt for his Birthday. About a week later I ordered the “I love my geek” shirt for myself. I hid it from Warren until Valentine’s day. It worked out so perfectly, when Warren got dressed for the day he wore his “geek” shirt before he knew anything about my shirt! We wore these out to a restaurant and someone asked to take our picture with his camera phone.

Ethan and Isaac decided to share a chair and have a snack together.

Here is a picture of Isaac coloring a picture looking so handsome with his new haircut. Daddy did a good job!

The boys are being silly in the tub. I told the boys to smile and that’s the face Ethan gave me…

Isaac is taking a cuddle break. I love this picture.

Ethan is in the Awana Cubbies at church on Wednesday nights. He really enjoys it and does a great job memorizing his bible verses. This picture was taken the night of the Awana program. Ethan and the rest of the cubbies got up in front of the church a couple of times to sing a few songs. It was hilarious watching all the 3 and 4 year olds do their own thing on stage.

The boys and I enjoyed a nice winter day outside. We made this snowman together in our backyard.

Ethan wanted to make a snowman, but there was not much snow at all! We managed to find a patch of snow in our yard just big enough to build this snowman. The boys had so much fun and they loved the fact that “frosty” (Ethan named him) was just their size!

I had to post this picture of Ethan because I think he looks so much like Warren! Not just because he is in front of a computer…

Warren turned 28 on January 13th. Daniel and Kari watched the boys for us while we went on a date! We don’t get to go out alone very often at all so it was really nice. We went to dinner and a movie.

This picture was taken on New Years Day in Knoxville at Mom and Dad’s new house. It was really sweet to see Ethan and Isaac sitting with their cousins listening as Grandma read them a bedtime story. Well, Isaac didn’t do much listening, but Ethan did!

Ethan and Isaac are hanging out in thier new chairs they got as a Christmas gift from Mommy and Daddy. Now they have a chair that is just thier size.

Ethan had been asking for a small backhoe for some time. He was very excited to see that he finally got one. He wanted Isaac to have one too so they could “play backhoes together.”

This picture was taken on Christmas morning right before we left for Church. We let the boys open thier stockings before church and we opened the rest of the gifts when we got home.

Isaac’s favorite stocking stuffer was definitely the M&M’s! He was so pround of the fact they were all his. He is an easy-to-please little boy! In fact, he would have been happy if that was his only gift!

T’was the night before Christmas… After putting the boys to bed on Christmas Eve, Mommy worked hard getting the tree ready for Christmas morning. The tree looked so beautiful glowing in the dark house.

Isaac loves his blue “blankie!” Sucking his thumb and holding his blanket go together, he can’t do one without doing the other.

Isaac looked like such a big boy walking around the zoo holding Daddy’s hand.

This picture was taken at the annual “Festival of Lights” winter activity at the Cincinnati Zoo. It was a perfect winter evening to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. The temperature was near 50!

After being so excited to see Santa, Ethan had a small change of heart when the time actually came. He kept his distance and didn’t take his eyes off him. Isaac was not so thrilled with the whole idea either.

I love this picture of Ethan. His smile couldn’t get any bigger! This picture was taken while waiting in line to see Santa Claus at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Ethan was so proud of this snow tunnel that he and Daddy made together. Ethan LOVES the snow. He gets so excited that he can help Daddy shovel the driveway. We just hope he still feels this way in ten years!

Isaac is standing in front of a snow tunnel that Daddy and Ethan made together. It was our first snowfall of the winter season. Isaac seemed to enjoy the snow a lot at first, but once he started getting cold he was ready to come inside for some hot chocolate!
